The Swale Singers

Picture
The Swale Singers use Reeth Memorial Hall as our regular rehearsal venue. We are a choir of some 40 members mostly from Swaledale and Wensleydale, who meet regularly to make music and rehearse for concerts, often for charitable causes, and also for the Swaledale Festival.  We welcome all comers, whether you are already a seasoned singer, or you’re looking to make a comeback to a choir, or you are new to the Dales (a good way to make about forty new friends) or you just fancy having a good sing for a couple of hours most weeks. Do join us and our musical director, Peter Stallworthy, every Sunday afternoon from 3 – 5pm.  We hope you would get as much pleasure as we do from singing together.
This term we are rehearsing Faure’s Requiem and Durufle’s Requiem for our Festival concert, and we shall be starting on February 2nd.
Do get in touch if you would like to come along and see if you like us. Email: swalesingers@swaledale.org
