The band rehearse weekly in the Memorial Hall on Tuesday evenings. They perform regularly in the dales and further afield, including regular Sunday afternoon concerts on the village green during the summer months and at the village Carol Service around the Christmas Tree on the last Sunday evening before Christmas.
The Council normally meets at 7pm in the Supper Room on the fourth Monday of most months. Meetings are open to the general public and anyone may attend but non-members may only take part in discussions if specifically invited by the chairman.

The Swale Singers use Reeth Memorial Hall as our regular rehearsal venue. We are a choir of some 40 members mostly from Swaledale and Wensleydale, who meet regularly to make music and rehearse for concerts, often for charitable causes, and also for the Swaledale Festival. We welcome all comers, whether you are already a seasoned singer, or you’re looking to make a comeback to a choir, or you are new to the Dales (a good way to make about forty new friends) or you just fancy having a good sing for a couple of hours most weeks. Do join us and our musical director, Peter Stallworthy, every Sunday afternoon from 3 – 5pm. We hope you would get as much pleasure as we do from singing together.
Do get in touch if you would like to come along and see if you like us. Click here to email us.
