Does the Memorial Hall have a car park? Honesty Box parking is available on the village green a few minutes walk away. It is possible to park briefly outside the Hall to unload equipment etc if required.
Is the Memorial Hall licensed? The hall has ‘TheMusicLicense’ for playing live and recorded music. The hall is licensed (North Yorkshire Council) for the sale and consumption of alcohol.
Do you have a bar? Most entertainment events organised by the Hall don't have a bar but you are welcome to bring drinks in from one of the pubs in the village or to bring your own drinks and snacks from home. We do serve hot drinks in the interval (for a donation). For other events, please contact the individual organisers. Do you allow dogs on the premises? No animals are allowed into the kitchen area. On occasion when animals are allowed into other parts of the hall they must be kept under close control and are the sole responsibility of the person that brought the animal into the venue. Only service dogs are permitted at music events.
Is concert seating pre-allocated? The seating at events organised by the Hall Committee is not numbered and is allocated on a first come, first served basis - if you have mobility issues or, for example, need to be sure of a space for a wheelchair, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us in advance. For other events, please contact the individual organisers for details.
How can I pay for tickets? If you have pre-ordered tickets for a Hall event, you will need to pay by cash or cheque on the door. We don't have card facilities on the premises but you can also book in advance via Wegottickets to pay online. Tickets for Hall events and many other locally arranged events are also usually on sale over the counter at Reeth Post Office where you can pay by cash or cheque. Please note that there is no ATM in the village.
