The Yoredale Ukulele Strummers - a Richmondshire based ukulele band will hold a ‘Ukulele Day’ at Reeth Memorial Hall on Saturday, March 28.
The day’s events include a chance for children to build and play their own simple ukulele, a free ‘try and play ukulele’ drop-in session, an afternoon concert by the Yoredale Ukulele Strummers, including players and singers from Arkengarthdale and Reeth schools, and finally an evening show featuring the internationally renowned Keith Stephen’s Hot Club Trio with Caroline Irwin. www.keithstephen.plus.com/

The Reeth Memorial Hall AGM will be held on Monday 9th March at 7.30pm, followed a brief meeting of the Management Committee . This AGM will be preceded by the opening of the newly refurbished Supper Room at 7.00pm. A representative of each user organisation is very welcome to attend the opening and then (if they wish) to stay to the AGM and Committee Meeting. Please note that all regular users of the Hall are entitled to have a representative on the Hall’s Management Committee, so if you do not have one, we would strongly recommend that you elect one at your own AGM or nominate/volunteer someone to attend.
